I have just had a spin around the hood in this eye-catching Messerschmitt. This is one of three to be used for promotions/events/whatever…must say that EVERYONE stopped to ogle. First mover advantage for someone. The site is just a holding pg at the moment.

Notes from enterprise 2.0

posted by Tamir on December 7th, 2007 / filed under FRANk Crew, Tamir, change, web2.0

I was attending enterprise 2.0 earlier this week and had a great time talking with some interesting people.

Topics covered were wikis as an internal tool, risks and management of social communities and the need for 2.0 strategy or even a dedicated “change agent”. David Peterson from BOAB interactive explained about open API’s and mashable features of web2.0 applications (his presentation here). Nigel Watson from Microsoft explained how they shifted the organisation from a “fortress” to “Disneyland castle” by encouraging employees to blog freely and learning from users comments. I found the most entertaining speaker to be Jennifer Wilson, head of innovation at Ninemsn with some great insights about social communities and “Generation C” - defined by behavior instead of age, which I believe should be the next targeting methodology. I didn’t have a chance to listen to all presentations but if you want a summary (brought to you by Tania Krsevan from Suncorp learning & development. Thanks Tania!) just email me and I’ll shoot it through.

One more thing, if you’re in Sydney looking for a place to eat give Chat Thai (20 campbell st. Haymarket) a try - the food is absolutely fantastic and the service is flawless!
