Key Points to Note:

  • A trend we have noticed is that blogging platforms such as WordPress and Tumblr have really grown further in 2013. 5 Million Australians visit WordPress.com blogs every month, and over 4 million visit Tumblr blogs. There seems to be a shift in users creating their own more professional style content off typical social media websites.
  • The other main networks of Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram continue to consume much of our social media time.
  • Facebook recently announced that 9 million Australians use Facebook on a daily basis.
