For large sites like Zappos with over 136,000 SKUs, getting customers aware of products can be an uphill task. They created a tool called TweetWall which lets Zappos’ customers see what products are being tweeted about – thus highlighting popular and interesting products in a catalog format. Another creative Pinterest campaign: The Peugeot Panama Pinterest Puzzle

It’s great to see brands creatively using Pinterest for campaigns. Peugeot Panama has started a competition to encourage followers and showcase products. On its Pinterest page are various puzzles depicting different car models, with pieces missing. Users can search for and find the missing pieces at the Peugeot Panama Facebook page or website, pin them to their own boards, and share them with Peugeot. The first five to complete the scavenger hunt win prizes.




AmEx launches Tweet & Save program

US cardholders can sync their accounts with their Twitter handle in order to receive exclusive offers in exchange for tweeting. When they tweet with specified hashtags, savings are automatically loaded onto their account when they use their card to purchase with a selected merchant. Read more?
