Channel Nine have today announced plans to launch their new digital channel called GO!
It will it hit our screens in August (via Ch 99) and is aimed at the 14-39 demographic, an audience Channel Nine have traditionally struggled with.
Their program line up according to the GO show reel will include shows such as Gossip Girl, The Hills, FRINGE, Terminator-Sarah Chronicles, Weeds, The Wire, Survivor, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Little Britain, CSI and Seinfeld.
Later this year GO! will broadcast the much anticipated show The Vampire Diaries, which is about a high school girl torn between two rival vampire brothers. It is expected to do well off the back of the big screen success of Twilight.
This is a strong line up on offer and will no doubt give subscription TV channels like Fox 8 a run for their money.
